ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, LLC, is searching for a Reliability Centered Maintenance Engineer to manage our program at Goddard Space Flight Center. This position will support the Repairs, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering (ROME) contract which maintains all facilities at the GSFC Greenbelt Campus, Wallops Flight Facility (WFF), and a Navy until located at WFF. The RCM Engineer will develop analysis methods to determine reliability of components, equipment, and processes. Furthermore, the RCM Engineer will acquire and analyze data; prepare diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports to define reliability problems and develop corrective actions to improve the reliability process. Conducts an analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the required reliability approach for the situation, with consideration given to the cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime, repair/replacement costs and weight, size and availability of materials/equipment. Determines cost advantages of alternatives and develops action plans that comply with internal/external customer demands for reliability processes/equipment to avoid failures.

• Works directly for the ROME RCM Lead to provide expert direction for the development, management, and control of the Reliability Centered Maintenance effort. The RCM Engineer will ensure a process is created and executed at the technician level. The RCM Engineer will consider impacts of costs on recommended action plans for avoiding/correcting problems during the design phase or remedial action for correcting reliability problems on installed equipment; performs root cause failure analysis to help prevent failures.

RequirementsTypical Education: B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering
Typical Experience: 8 years’ experience

• Possess a current Reliability Maintenance Certification or the ability to obtain it within one year
