ASRC Federal is Hiring a Technician, Water/Waste Water Near Enid, OK
ASRC Federal Field Services is seeking a Technician, Water/Waste Water in support of our Vance Air Force Base, Base Operations Support Contract, located in Enid, Oklahoma
ResponsibilitiesMonitors, maintains, repairs, replaces, modifies, and operates the water, waste water distribution systems to include, but not limited to all, piping, fixtures, valves, water meters, booster pumps, chemical feed stations, and other associated equipment and mechanisms. Operates the potable water treatment system that consists of adding and/or removing substances to/from water so as to bring about the desired change in quality. The water operators shall be responsible for all monitoring, inspecting, sampling, flushing and recording of water readings as required to ensure good chlorination and water quality at all fixtures. Performs flow tests on fire hydrants, documents the results and updates the markings on the hydrants. Exercises water main valves to ensure proper operation. Must be able to obtain a minimum of a Class D Water Operators License in accordance with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental quality (ODEQ) to maintain the system. Performs other related duties as assigned.
