Job Summary: The Site Supervisor is responsible for onsite field and administrative staff meeting schedules and company/customer needs, including payroll and all reporting. Will supervise and direct crews through their duties, per OSHA and company standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Oversee all functions related to the projects that they are assigned to.

* Communicate and listen effectively with customer, coworkers, and leadership. Specifically, understanding the customer's needs and communicating with leadership to understand job scope and schedule.

* Responsible for managing the project lifecycle for low complexity, single craft projects from initiation to closure. Manages the work, schedules and costs to ensure safety, profitability and customer satisfaction. Manages change throughout project lifecycle as needed.

* Conduct crew meetings and toolbox meetings.

* Assign work to employees

* Maintain a safe work site, free of safety hazards by monitoring compliance with project safety program requirements, as well as enforcing stop-work authority and documented disciplinary measures against employees who violate company/customer safety policies and procedures.

* Oversee direct manpower at the job site, always being cognizant of cost and scheduling impacts to ensure the manpower is at a profitable level.

* Perform administrative duties such as yard and job site inventory, safety meetings, fall plans, hazard analysis, payroll time sheets, equipment rental, return tickets, change orders, time and material tickets, bill of materials, and other site paperwork accurately and neatly.

* Review and understand the pre-job plan to ensure that the job is built as bid and designed.

* Make sure that work done out-of-scope is documented and properly accounted for so that the company may recoup as a change order.

* Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

* Manages and communicates with foremen on their work of the foreman's crew, correcting work and work processes as needed.

* Strong ability to estimate leg footage and man hours for any given project.

* Ensure accurate loading, unloading and storage of assigned materials and equipment

* Responsible for proper use and care for all GCI and Client facilities and equipment

* Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) (including inspection and documentation) of the work

* Estimate material and worker requirements to complete job

* Ensure up-to-date, accurate time records, and ensures that man-hours, materials and quantities are properly reported

* Analyze and plan installation and construction of equipment and structures.

* Ensure workers are proficient in understanding GCI best practices.

* Follows, understands, and actively participates in all HSE/Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) procedures and reports all accidents and near misses involving self, company vehicles, or other job personnel to supervisor and/or safety personnel immediately.

* Recommend measures to improve production methods and equipment performance to increase efficiency and safety.

* Takes an active role in ensuring that you and your subordinates follow company ethics policies and programs. Ensures that the site staff are up to date with acknowledgements and training related to ethical practices.

* Mentors and develops staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assigns accountabilities, sets objectives, establishes priorities, and monitors and evaluates results. Provide timely positive and constructive feedback. Ensures staff members receive appropriate training and development. Recommends appropriate personnel actions (i.e., hiring, firing, promotion, compensation, etc.).

* Understand and uphold HR policies and procedures. Be able to advise technicians on procedures for safety, accident reporting, etc.

Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:

* High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent

* Knowledgeable in the basic materials, equipment, and basic application techniques associated with the crafts in which they specialize.

* Possess strong management skills and specialize in the ability to maintain good in-house and customer relationships and understand the project's financial obligations, the scope of work, and associated estimates.

* Requires excellent oral skills to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers.

* Requires strong leadership abilities to inspire and coach employees to accomplish strategic goals and related tasks. This includes abilities that correspond to leadership, such as recruiting, selecting, training, motivating employees, and managing employee performance.

* Requires the ability to present a clean professional image and to encourage subordinates to do the same

* 10-15 years of craft experience in the commercial or industrial markets and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

* Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.

* Make decisions based on measurable criteria.

* Apply basic mathematics and solve problems.

* Basic computer skills and knowledge of word processing programs, spreadsheets, email platforms and other communication tools.

* Able to maintain rapport and positive working relations with all team members and inter-company staff to resolve problems and minimize potential conflict.

* Work at heights without fear.

* Possesses a personal commitment to excellence and actively supports and participates in employee cost and quality improvement programs. Communicates the mission, vision, direction, and values of the company with company-developed materials.

* Must be able to follow directions

* Must have knowledge of safe work practices and company safety policies.

* Understand scope-of-contract and change order process

* Able to work outside in extreme temperatures for extended periods.

* Able to pull and lift to 50 pounds.

* Able to safely climb scaffolding.
