Curries, North Iowa’s largest manufacturer, is adding a Quality Inspector to the team for our 2nd Shift (3pm to 11pm).
Curries (an ASSA ABLOY company) is a leading manufacturer of essential steel door and frame openings for healthcare, institutional, commercial and industrial construction.
We produce strong and secure steel doors and frames to meet the full range of safety, security, and aesthetic requirements for any project.
What would you do as our Quality Inspector?
You will perform dimensional and visual inspections of doors and frames to support production lines and meet established requirements.
You would also :
- Execute nondestructive testing when required.
- Conduct data collection to support line historical data requirements and or machine studies.
- Complete all required documentation and record keeping.
- Utilize electronic systems to support inspections; AS-400
- Assist production in solving product quality problems by leading or helping with any containment actions and identify product to support the rework / remake process.
- Assist Team Leaders to support quality system requirements.
- Support raw material incoming inspection.
- Support calibration system requirements.
- Maintain work are and inspection equipment in accordance with 5S practices.
- Participate in problem solving teams as appropriate.
