Job Description: The Job/What You'll Do: The AssetMark Bank Trust Service Relationship Manager is a single point of contact supporting AssetMark’s Bank Trust relationships. The Relationship Manager will work directly with Bank Trust officers and Operations staff via phone and email. The Bank Trust Relationship Manager is responsible for working with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution, follow-up and resolution is provided for Client Directed Activity, Not in Good Order paperwork, “How to” questions, and Ad-Hoc reporting needs. The Bank Trust Relationship Manager will also be a key stakeholder in converting and onboard new bank relationships and will ensure that any issues are handled with fast and fair resolution. This is a full-time position in our Phoenix, AZ office with a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, bank trust officers, sales, operations, and critical vendors supporting the AssetMark Trust bank channel Act as the primary point of contact for all bank trust related matters, ensuring timely and clear communication Answer in-bound calls from Bank Trust Officers and Operations staff Adheres to Service Center Standards (balances Bank need with service center metrics) Takes full ownership and accountability for all interactions with internal and external customers Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for core operations processes Initiates proactive outbound communications with bank clients to ensure open issues are resolved timely. Proactively keep Sales and the Enterprise Relationship Team informed of issues and challenges Monitor and assess the financial health and stability of banking partners, identifying and mitigating potential risks Ensure all client experience issues provide a fast and fair resolution. Report all client experience issues to the Customer Experience team and communicate ongoing progress toward resolution to the Bank Trust Officer or Operations staff until the resolution is completed Continually evaluate day-to-day activities for process improvement opportunities; speaks about outages, offers solutions and makes improvements; Participate in selected departmental process improvement initiatives and duties as assigned Supports and adheres to departmental standards for call management Occasionally support other business enterprises as needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong oral and written presence Strong attention to detail Displays passion and a heart for service Has a passion for self-improvement Exercises strong decision making skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years industry related experience Minimum of 2 years relationship management experience Education & Experience: Proven experience in relationship management or similar role Experience with supporting bank relationships Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years industry related experience Minimum of 2 years relationship management experience Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $65,000-$78,000. This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.
