Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Home Health Aides to provide compassionate care for individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires expertise in
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide mobility support and transfer assistance for patients.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Document patient progress and any changes in medical condition.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare providers.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient's health status.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices.
- Knowledge of best practices in patient care and safety protocols.
- Experience in assisting individuals with dementia or memory care needs is a plus.
- Ability to handle catheter care and medication administration.
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards patients.
- Certification in CPR is preferred.
