Assisting Hands Home Care Maywood is seeking a dynamic and driven Home Care Community Relations Liaison to join our growing team in Bergen County, NJ. This foundational role is essential for our continued expansion and success in the home care sector.

About the Role:

As a Home Care Community Relations Liaison, you will be crucial in driving our agency's growth by identifying and establishing relationships with potential referral partners. Your primary responsibilities include conducting outreach efforts, building connections with local community leaders and healthcare providers, and ultimately enhancing our client base through strategic networking, marketing and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to identify and engage potential referral sources in the healthcare and eldercare community.
• Maintain and strengthen our relationships with referral partners and community organizations.
• Source and build relationships with new referral partners in the community
• Be responsible for new referral leads and/or revenue growth
• Own communication with partners, both in-person and via phone/email
• Initiate and conduct outreach efforts through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to secure valuable partnerships and referrals.
• Lead out on all community outreach, including participation and/or organization of events.
• Develop and execute impactful strategies for outreach and relationship building.
• Attend and represent Assisting Hands Home Care at local networking events, seminars, and other relevant gatherings to promote our services and foster relationships.
• Actively use LinkedIn to grow brand awareness, foster relationships, and engage with industry professionals and potential clients.

About You:

• Relevant Experience: Minimum of 1 year in business development, marketing, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
• Communication Skills: Very strong capabilities in both initiating cold contacts and nurturing ongoing relationships.
• Personality: Very strong people skills; able to carry yourself confidently in stressful situations.
• Work Ethic: Robust work ethic, resilience in the face of challenges, and receptiveness to feedback. Self-driven and self-disciplined, determined to drive results without needing to be micromanaged.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to use data and feedback to refine approaches and improve outcomes.
• Adaptability: Quick learning and adaptability in a dynamic environment, able to prioritize effectively according to changing needs and objectives.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in the healthcare, eldercare, or non-medical home care industries.
• Being a Social Worker or having a background in social work is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in digital and social media marketing, particularly on LinkedIn.
• Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred but not required.

Pay

$65,000 - $75,000 base salary depending on experience and other factors, plus commission uncapped.

Location:

This position is based in Maywood, NJ, and covers the Greater Bergen County area. Travel within the area is expected for meetings and events.
