Description: This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in compliance with the Plan of Care designated by the RN.
Education: Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant
Qualifications: Individual must have successfully completed and provide evidence of formal home health aide training or certification as a Nursing Assistant per state law and regulation. One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.
Requirements: CPR Certification Card, TB Test, CEU's and Level 2 live-scan criminal background check.
Reports to: Director of Nursing
Duties Include: Companionship, cooking, light housekeeping, and assistance with transportation, errands, and personal care.
Hours: Dependent on assignment. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly
