ROLE ESSENTIALS We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. As our Senior FP&A Analyst, you will own the modeling for our budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning and support strategic decision-making across the organization with data-driven insights. Your contributions will have a direct impact on our executive and board level decision marking. The ideal candidate will have exceptional financial modeling skills, a highly analytical mindset, a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain comprehensive financial and operating models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and strategic initiatives.
- Model potential financial outcomes under different operational, economic and strategic scenarios to inform decision making.
- Drive the monthly financial reporting process. Conduct detailed variance analysis with a focus on going beyond the numbers to understand underlying trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with business units with fundamental analyses of business performance, providing data-driven insights to support budgeting, business planning and financial and operational improvements.
- Provide analytical support for the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual presentations for executive leadership and the board on financial results, budgets, forecasts, long-range planning and strategic initiatives.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications: - 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role.
- Exceptional, demonstrable financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience building and owning complex operating and financial models
- Deep understanding of how to use operational and financial data to build forecasts and financial analyses
- Ability to break down complex financial data and identify key insights
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and/or other presentation applications and financial database and data visualization applications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or comparable professional experience
- Ability to be in the New York or Orlando offices as needed, with the expectation being in-office 3 days p/week

$89,000 - $120,000 a year
This role is eligible for an annual bonus, based on performance.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $89,000 to $120,000 bonus benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

COMPENSATION STATEMENT Lindblad Expeditions determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant's location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
