DescriptionCantaMia at Estrella is an active adult 55 community located in Goodyear, Arizona. The central hub of activity is the 29,000 square-foot Village Center. This spectacular facility boasts a large, state-of-the-art fitness center with an aerobics studio, residents also enjoy indoor and outdoor pools and a spa. The Village Center also features a new Café for residents and guests to enjoy food and beverage, and we are seeking a cook to work onsite within this Café.
Position SummaryPrimarily responsible for preparing and cooking food for guests and residents in an HOA community, while keeping the service area clean and organized.
Position Responsibilities
- Hot and Cold Line cooking.
- Assist in developing menus.
- Cleaning, maintaining par levels on all usable products.
- Logging all necessary information related to daily operations.
- Ordering and maintaining inventory.
- Other related duties as directed.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establishes priorities, and meets deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational and tracking skills.
- Ability to interact and work positively and effectively with residents, guest and staff at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively within the department as well as with other departments.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Standing for long periods of time, bending, squatting, lifting up to 30 pounds at times, dress in a professional manner and may be required to wear a uniform.
