**Physical Therapy Aide**
**Job Summary:**
Join our team at Associated Rehabilitation Physical & Occupational Therapy as a Physical Therapy Aide. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and are seeking a compassionate individual to assist our physical therapists in delivering high-quality services. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient care and rehabilitation efforts.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist physical & occupational therapists in conducting patient assessments and evaluations to determine physical conditions, limitations, and personal goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers
- Provide guidance & support to patients during therapy sessions.
- Instruct patients on exercises and assistive devices usage.
- Support patients in purchasing products that aid in their rehabilitation.
- Aid in guiding patients through therapeutic activities.
- Prepare reports for patients, physicians, and families.
- Assist in cleaning patient care areas, keeping the gym in order, and inventory.
**Experience:**
- Prior experience or knowledge in therapy, Anatomy, Orthopedics, Outpatient, Inpatient settings is beneficial; prior experience being a therapy aide preferred
Our work hours are flexible to accommodate your schedule with the option for time off given proper notice. Full-time employees receive 2 weeks of paid time off.
