Operations Manager

We are seeking an Operations Manager for our growing home inspection team! Must be a well organized self-starter who is able to learn new technology easily, provide excellent customer service, and have great phone skills. This position requires someone who can be interrupted frequently, maintain a positive attitude, and share our belief that other people come first! The goal of this role is to optimize daily activities and streamline processes to achieve profit targets. The ideal candidate will have proven success in creating solutions to achieve goals. This person will have proven success in leading others and have the opportunity to influence the future success of the company.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Background in the Real Estate Industry is a plus
• High school diploma required, further education preferred
• Excellent professional communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
• Strong skills in budget development and financial management
• Proficiency in conflict management and business processes
• Aptitude for learning new applications and creating solutions

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate leadership and communicate vision across the organization
• Manage KPIs to measuring staff performance and identity opportunities for improvement
• Create and maintain scoreboard for operations and client care team
• Optimize processes to reduce cost and improve capacity
• Work with bookkeeper/accountant to monitor financial performance and recommend solutions to improve profitability
• Manage departmental budget
• Submit payroll for team
• Perform quarterly reviews for team members
• Making sure regulatory documents are filed at the appropriate times
• Making strategic decisions and implementing action plans
• Recruiting, hiring, leadership development of team members
• Create strategic partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and customers
• Capacity planning and identifying resources needed to hit goals
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
• Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
• Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
• Provide surge capacity to schedule inspections

Work Schedule:

This is a full time opportunity (M-F) in our office at 7341-M W. Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27410.
