Assured Information Security (AIS) is looking for an experienced and dynamic Network Engineer to support a critical DoD cyber operations program. This program contributes directly to the execution of DoD’s cyber missions. This role involves working on a platform that empowers cyber operators with robust cyber defense and offense capabilities. This is an onsite position located in San Antonio, TX.

How You’ll Succeed

• With the use of your knowledge and/or experience in network design and architecture, system interoperability, OSI model, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding, you will support the nation’s cyber network infrastructure.
• You’ll upgrade or develop enterprise-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network system.
• You’ll apply your knowledge and/or experience in routing and switching, network design and architecture, system interoperability, network transport layers, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding to assist a team of problem-solvers to help the government to evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.

Your Expertise

• You have a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of directly related experience or a master’s degree and 0-2 years of directly related experience. Years of experience or certifications may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• You have an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Knowledge of networking and routing protocols
• Ability to analyze/monitor network performance and document network configurations/changes.
• Experience/Knowledge with troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
• Experience supporting DOD and/or national cyber missions is a plus.

US Salary Range: $98,000 - $108,000

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
