Assured Information Security (AIS) is looking for a System Administrator to support a critical DoD cyber operations program. This program contributes directly to the execution of DoD’s cyber missions. This role involves working on a platform that empowers cyber operators with robust cyber defense and offense capabilities. This is an onsite position located in Honolulu/Oahu, HI.

How You’ll Succeed

• You’ll perform daily system administration, optimization, configuration, and user assistance.
• You’ll determine computer user needs and implement system changes, upgrades, and/or configuration to meet the needs.
• You’ll monitor system load and usage and planning for necessary technical refresh.
• You’ll install, configure and maintain mid-range operating systems.
• You’ll apply advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise and industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• You’re able to work without considerable direction and can mentor and/or supervise team members.

Your Expertise

• You have a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of directly related experience or a master’s degree and 3 years of directly related experience. Years of experience or certifications may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• You have an active TS/SCI clearance (Poly preferred).
• You have experience with maintaining servers, workstations, and other information system assets, maintaining monitoring reports and logs, system updates, backups, and system security.
• You have experience managing the daily configuration and operation of information systems

US Salary Range: $120,000 - $134,000
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
