Overview:

As the Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner, over our Accretive business, you will lead and execute on HR strategy as a key member of the Accretive and Human Resources Leadership Teams. In this role, you will shape our organization's future through heavy consultative and influencing skills to not only support but drive our overall business objectives.

What You'll Do:

Business Partnership

  • Act as a strategic business partner to understand business goals and challenges and provide HR insights, solutions, and coaching to drive business success.
  • Utilize data and a deep understanding of the business landscape to anticipate future HR needs and proactively recommend, implement, and manage strategies to address them.

Talent Management

  • Support the creation, launch, and execution of all Talent Management initiatives including, but not limited to, recruiting, onboarding, learning & development, performance management, succession planning, etc.
  • Influence organization design, identify gaps, and deploy impactful people strategies that enable teams to perform effectively and scale efficiently.
  • Offer constructive feedback and guidance to leaders on performance management, team dynamics, and employee relations matters.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement among leaders, encouraging feedback and self-reflection to drive personal and professional growth.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention, leveraging employee feedback and data analytics to inform talent strategies.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and teamwork within the HR function and across the organization.
  • Serve as a strong voice for HR at the leadership level, advocating for HR initiatives and priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels, ensuring transparency and clarity in HR-related matters.
  • Lead discussions with business leaders to review HR data, facilitating collaborative conversations that drive action and continuous improvement.
  • Partner across HR Center of Excellence and HR Operations teams within Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and DEI to recommend, support, and deploy programs throughout the organization.

Team Leadership

  • Provide direction and guidance to HR team members, empowering them to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the team.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, and fostering a results-driven culture.
  • Encourage professional growth and development opportunities for HR team members, supporting their career aspirations and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment where team members feel valued, motivated, and engaged.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field or similar equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles with a focus on business partnership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working with a geographically dispersed population in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive positive organizational change.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs on diversity and inclusion topics.
  • This role will require up to 30% travel.

Preferred

  • Previous background in the Insurance Industry.
