Exciting opportunity for an experienced hospice marketing professional, to strategize, develop and execute marketing objectives that support business growth.
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for assisting in planning, developing, and implementing the agency marketing programs, which includes community education, non-remunerative solicitation of patients and/or patronage, and advertising. The business development specialist is responsible to the Director of Development
JOB DUTIES/KNOWLEDGE
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in marketing preferred, high school or equivalent required with business development experience.
2. At least one (1) year marketing or administrative experience in a health care setting.
3. Experience in generating new business from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities and geriatric care mangers, etc.
4. Knowledge of hospice care services and managed care plans.
4. Have strong written and oral communication skills
