We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for the overall operations of the department and ensuring that all financials and records are maintained. The ideal candidate has strong numerical skills, pays close attention to detail, and must be a hands-on team player within a small processing department. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity of the organization and requires collaboration with various departments to ensure a smooth operation.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing support to the Accounting Department.
- Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
- Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
- Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, journal entries etc.
- Preparing financial reports.
- Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
- Utilize ERP system.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an Accounting and administration
- Strong Excel Skills
- Able to work independently and multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor in all situations
