Job DescriptionThe Temporary Cash Specialist will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of cash transactions, focusing on receiving and recording payments. This temporary position demands a high level of proficiency in Excel pivot tables and v-lookups. The role is critical in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations during the processing of various payment methods, including checks, ACH, and credit cards. Key responsibilities include receiving and recording all cash transactions, processing payments, identifying unapplied amounts, creating account reconciliations, preparing and uploading payment files, processing credit card payments, investigating discrepancies, entering credit memos, preparing refunds, and assisting with cash-related inquiries.
