My client, a reputable company in the Jacksonville area, is currently hiring for a Cash Applications Specialist role with competitive pay and growth opportunity!

Qualifications to Apply:

1 years experience as a Cash Applications Specialist or similar role

Cash applications experience

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent communication skills

Willingness to work in office

Job Description:

Post lockbox and local deposits, wire transfers, credit card payments and disputes, inter-company transfers, refunds, and adjustment entries

Utilize bank internet sites for additional information on downloaded data and reporting.

Reporting and posting payments through 3rd party portals such as Amazon, Affirm, and PayPal to ensure they balance with bank deposits.

Perform timely and accurate application of payments and reconcile cash balance to general ledger account daily.

Ensure all payments are matched & allocated within agreed timelines

Researching unapplied cash amounts so that unapplied cash can be kept to a minimum.

Utilizes current lockbox technology to print reports and view images related to cash applications.

May perform cash reconciliations against bank accounts and other Company accounts as requested or required.

Responsible for all areas of the Cash Application process
