Job Description:

• Phone usage-Outbound calls to medical groups
• MRU-medical review unit-claims dept sends cases to us, we look at each case to determine if the service requires an authorization
• Checking status of authorizations
• Provider appeals-receive medical records and review to determine next steps
• Medical Claims experience and knowledge is important
• Utilization management experience is important
• Medical Authorizations
• Fast paced environment and held to production goals
• Good understanding of Excel
• Excel is used for reporting, they need to be able to filter the report and be able to input data, analyzing reports,

Skills:

• medical claims processing

Workplace:

100% remote - But have to go to onsite for meeting once a month.:
