Location: Queens , New York
Looking for a role to gain some experience with a reputable company name under your resume?? Look no further ! Our client is looking to bring someone on for a short term capacity to enter payroll data into their system. This role will follow through to the end of July, they are hiring immediately ! Perfect for entry level payroll job seekers to spend some of their summer time !
Responsibilities
- Collect and verify employee payroll data, including work hours and timesheets.
- Enter payroll information accurately into the system.
- Issue deductions, earnings statements, and other relevant documents to employees.
- Update payroll records regularly.
- Resolve any discrepancies and address employee queries related to payroll.
- Process and issue W-2 forms to employees.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry and excel
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented
- Reliable
- Team player
