Aston Carter is Hiring a Senior Tax Accountant Near Danbury, CT
- Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, corporate and partnership tax returns in compliance with federal and state tax laws.
- Calculation of personal and business estimated Federal and State tax payments.
- Developing tax minimization strategies and implementing them accordingly.
- Communicate with accounting staff to ensure timely deliverable review of financial statements with a focus on profit maximization.
- A strong commitment to professional education and remaining up to date with current trends and tax law changes.
- Volume is 1,100 individual returns and 300-400 trust returns

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- CPA preferred but NOT required
- 5 years experience in the preparation and review of Federal and State tax returns
- C corp & S corp tax returns
- Strong communication skills
- QuickBooks Online
- QuickBooks Desktop
- Lacerte (Intuit Tax software)
