Aston Carter is seeking a Tax Accountant for a client based in Georgetown, KY.

Description:

The tax accountant professional will assist company with file taxes appropriately while following legal guideline and obtaining the maximum possible tax return. They will assist with reports, research and other special projects.

Responsibilities:

Tax account analysis

Annual, quarterly, and monthly reporting deadlines

Assist with tax audit

Research state and federal income tax

Prepare state Income tax, federal income tax property tax returns

Tax account reconciliations

Skills:

Reconciliation, Month end, Income tax, federal income tax law, audit, excel pivot tables, jd edwards, Reporting, tax analysis, Tax, Financial statement, Tax accounting, tax return, Thomson reuters OneSource

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2 years of tax accounting or related experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

CPA is a plus

J.D. Edwards experience

Strong Excel experience (Pivot Table, VLOOKLUP, Formulas)
