Job Title: Associate Director, Media StrategyLocation: Wilmington, DE Introduction to Role:Join AstraZeneca’s Commercial Digital Health (CDH) department as an Associate Director, Media Strategy, where you will be at the forefront of innovative approaches to paid media. This role is a unique opportunity to connect with patients and healthcare professionals and contribute to achieving brand marketing goals in the US. As a Media Strategist, you will lead and execute our organization’s approach to media planning, making specific recommendations for individual brands to achieve marketing goals.
Accountabilities:As the primary internal media point of contact, you will serve various teams, translate business objectives into media objectives, and manage the Media Agency responsible for planning, buying, performance management, and optimization of integrated paid media campaigns. You will participate in annual brand planning, lead the development of strategic brand insights, and ensure strategies align with the latest consumer and media trends. You will also work proactively with the media agency, brand, and other analytics teams to design a media measurement framework and KPI identification.
Essential Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 6 years of paid media experience across online (display, online video, paid search) and offline (TV, Print, Out of Home) channels
  • Client relationship / Internal management experience
  • Demonstrated experience planning, developing, and implementing media plans
  • Knowledge of digital media trends and technologies
  • Experience leveraging 1st and 3rd party data for targeting, segmentation
  • Independent self-starter with a “plug-and-play” attitude for collaboration
  • Comfortable working in a multinational corporate environment contributing to and prioritizing multiple high-level projects
  • Experience working in a regulated industry
  • Experience working with campaigns targeting multiple customer groups
