JOB POSTING COMPANY NAME: Astreya Partners, LLC POSITION TITLE: Senior Tableau Developer (Data Analyst IV) POSITION DUTIES: Responsible for statistical modeling, and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations of trends and patterns. Identify and capture data from internal and external sources. Ensure consistency throughout ongoing projects. Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Create advanced data visualizations. Troubleshoot and test database technical issues with the development team. Create monthly Excel and Google Sheets files from the database. Perform quality assurance on data to determine potential data gaps. Handle data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business. Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in Astreya data systems. Design and generate consensus and statistical demand forecast reports and continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach. Design and generate automation scripts and models to improve efficiencies. Evolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems. Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify improvements/automation opportunities. Independently analyze data sets to identify opportunities for increased accuracy and efficiency. Provide reports to senior management for Monthly briefings. Support very large-scale projects covering all geographic regions. Create report mockups, test cases, and success criteria for tool Proofs-of-Concepts. Provide analysis of features and visualization types best fit for reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes within the organization. Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA. Implement data governance practices to maintain data integrity and confidentiality. DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics or related field. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 3 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Business Intelligence tool such as Tableau; SQL and PL/SQL; working with RDBMS and other database types such as Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, and MySQL; demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions; analytical, problem solving and verbal communication skills; working with Big Data to provide EDA to senior team leads; managing large data sets and creating visual data; written communication skills; advanced Excel including formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookup and reference formulas (i.e. vlookups), statistical formulas (countifs, sumifs), macros (ability to create new and edit existing), conditional formatting, importing data, creating graphs/charts, etc.; analyzing large amounts of data including the ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends, gaps, and patterns in complex data sets; and working across multiple levels of an organization with experience leading cross-functional process improvements. Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies. TELECOMMUTING/ TRAVEL: About 5% or less of domestic travel. Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
