Job Summary: As an Audio Visual (AV) Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating all audio visual equipment in our locations. You will support events, provide technical assistance to users, and ensure the seamless operation of AV systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Audio Visual Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up, test, operate, and maintain all audio visual equipment across various space types, from small video conference rooms to large event spaces.
• Event Support and Operation: Coordinate and support AV requirements for events, meetings, conferences, or presentations, ensuring seamless operation of AV equipment during these events.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues with AV equipment, and offer guidance on proper usage.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of AV setups, user guides, issues, repairs, and provide reports as required.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Customer Service Focus: Ability to maintain a strong focus on high levels of customer service to ensure users always have the AV solutions necessary to stay productive.
• Web Conferencing Solutions Knowledge: Strong knowledge and experience with web conferencing solutions, ideally Zoom Rooms and Google Meet.
• Complex AV Systems Experience: Comfortable with complex AV systems for live events, including audio mixing, live camera operation, vision mixing, and switching concepts.
• AV Control Systems Familiarity: Familiar with AV control systems such as Q-Sys, Crestron, AMX.
• Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong focus on proactive delivery of high-quality results.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of basic concepts of computer networks and AV over IP protocols.
• Video Editing Experience: Some video editing experience in Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or other industry-preferred software.
