Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Program Control Specialistto support the All-Domain Common Platform (ADCP) Product Line, which is within the USAF Kessel Run Division and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
This is a full time / salaried position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, and plans)
  • Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) and MAR
  • Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule reviews
  • Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management
  • Researching and compiling information pertaining to certain projects/topics, reviews CDRL packages, prepares factual, clear, concise, complete and appropriately coordinated written communications
  • Ensure that leadership is kept informed of all issues of interest that relate to the mission organization
  • Monitor progress toward accomplishment of various taskings and initiatives
  • Provide support by supplying the information and background for the preparation of program events
  • Draft documents for the approval and signature of leadership
  • Disseminates program policy and specific initiative guidance for members of the organization
  • Coordinates, documents, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling, and set up of physical and virtual meetings in support
  • Prepare background information and invite required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policy, which may include, but is not limited to, attendance logs, minutes and/or action items with corresponding action officers
Qualifications:
Clearance: Must have an active US security clearance
Education: High School Diploma
Years' experience: 30 years of directly related experience with 20 years of experience in a DoD setting OR a Bachelor's Degree with 25 years of directly related experience with 15 years of experience in a DoD setting
knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs

  • Knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force
