Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior RF Systems Engineerfor the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services contract, supporting the Air Force Division

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

JOB STATUS: FT

TRAVEL: 5%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Masters degree and 12 years of directly related experience, of which 5 years must be in DoD; or 15 years of directly related experience in lieu of masters degree, of which 5 years must be in DoD; or 20 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
• Top Secret clearance with with SCI eligibility. All Applicants MUST be US Citizens
• US Government Acquisition Experience Required
• RF experience required
• Kubernetes and Docker experience required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Jira and Confluence experience desired
• Cyber, IT, or software development experience desired

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide system engineering, support, & training for offensive cyber programs and initiatives, including acquisition, development, integration, test & evaluation, sustainment, evolution, deployment, and operations oversight
• Conduct reviews on program portfolio improving systems engineering programs/processes assuring performance is achieved IAW approved specifications
• Define and specify new capabilities tailored to customer's mission needs
• Prepare technical documents which define, specify, and recommend system/subsystem characteristics
• Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation and corrective actions 
• Perform system validation, including criteria development/procedures
• Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with USAF processes
