**Schedule** **: M-F 3** **rd** **shift**

**Pay** **: $25/hr**

**Type** **: Contract to hire**

**Requirements:**

Previous technical writing experience in a manufacturing setting required; 2-3 years of experience preferred.

AS in STEM-related field, and/or commensurate experience in a manufacturing setting; BS preferred.

Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Effective time management and organizational skills to balance a dynamic workload.

**Responsibilities:**

Develop, revise, and communicate updated Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) for cleaning and sanitation programs in an FDA-regulated food manufacturing facility.

Review, organize, and file completed sanitation forms and records.

Support Sanitation Management in the execution of continual improvement initiatives for sanitation programs, processes, and documentation.

Collaborate with hourly Sanitation and Production staff to support the implementation of new or updated SSOPs using hands-on training, One Point Lessons (OPLs), and Visual Work Instructions (VWIs).

Maintain a variety of forms and records for sanitation programs, including daily cleaning records, Clean-In-Place (CIP) system documentation, and the facilitys Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).

Conduct periodic audits of completed sanitation documentation, as assigned, to ensure it is complete and accurate to satisfy all applicable regulatory, customer, and internal company requirements.
