Seeking an Analytical Chemist with product analysis experience to work with a global leading chemical manufacturer that continues to develop innovative products for environmental sustainability!

Pay: 80K-85K DOE

Type of Job: Direct Hire

Location : Beaumont, TX

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

  • Perform accurate and timely analysis of production samples following analytical procedures.
  • Develop, establish, and validate analytical testing methodologies for raw materials, production intermediates, and final products.
  • Document analytical methods in technical reports and transfer to Quality Control Department
  • Implement new or existing analytical methods for identification of compound
  • Maintain all laboratory instruments
  • Coordinate off-site testing when necessary
  • Follows laboratory guidelines and safety requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Required
  • Minimum 2-4 years of professional industry experience
  • Experience in analytical methods and lab instrumentation (e.g. GC, GC/MS, titrators, Analyzers)
  • Chemical or Oil and Gas Refinery Experience Preferred
