Hiring an Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist to work with a CDMO focusing on conscious science for sustainable ingredients used within personal care and household products!

Schedule: M-F Normal business hours

Pay: $75K-$80K DOE

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
• Deliver EHS training programs for employees.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments and audits.
• Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Ensure all staff are adequately trained in safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Lead investigations into EHS incidents and near-misses.
• Identify root causes and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
• Maintain EHS programs and initiatives, including hazardous materials management, and waste reduction strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS documentation

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in an EHS role
• 1-2 years of experience within Chemical manufacturing.

Preferred

• Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001
• Experience with Process Safety Management
• Experience Wastewater Treatment
