Astrix is Hiring a Plant Operations Specialist Near Clinton, NJ
Our Client, a Fortune 100 energy company who specializes in pioneering new research and pursuing new technologies to create more efficient forms of energy, is seeking a Chemical Operator to join their growing team.
Responsibilities
- Operate multiple pilot plants simultaneously
- Become very familiar with all operational parameters and equipment for each unit (pumps, reactors, gas meters, mass flow controllers, thermocouples, pressure transducers, etc.)
- Perform analytical testing and submit/inventory samples as needed
- Perform routine maintenance/mechanical work to support high service factor operations
Ideal skills/experience:
- Operation of pilot plant equipment
- Hands on experience with pumps, flow controllers, handling of chemicals
- Honeywell or other systems experience a plus
- Troubleshooting experience with various process equipment
Background:
- 4 years of experience in production or manufacturing environment with focus in the chemical industry
