Type: Contract (6 Months)

Pay: 35-40 per hr

Hours: M-F, 40 Hours

Job Description:

• Execute high throughput protein expression and characterization experiments following in-silico/machine-learning guided designs.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including cell culture facilities, robotics, and general wet lab apparatus.
• Independently plan and conduct experiments, troubleshoot procedures, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Collaborate within a matrixed team environment, supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
• Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and manage procurement of laboratory consumables.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three (3 ) years of experience in a related scientific discipline, or Master’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on expertise in protein expression and purification techniques.
• Proficiency in protein characterization using biophysical assays.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, vector cloning (infusion, gibson, and golden gate), and construct design is preferred.
