We are looking for an Industrial Painting Assistant/Sandblaster to join our team at Astro Metal Craft/Storms Welding in Norwood Young America!

We specialize in providing metal fabrications for our architectural and industrial equipment clients.

You will see a wide variety of work in several industries!

Job Activities & Responsibilities

• Assist lead painter in surface prep, industrial painting etc.
• Knowledge of paint products
• Sandblasting
• Assembly of parts
• Layout according to shop prints
• Operate other fabrication equipment such as press brake, shear, saw, machining center, sanders, etc. as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-2 Years of knowledge and experience in automotive or industrial equipment painting
• Sand blasting experience
• Attention to detail, quality-driven
• Good work ethic, takes pride in work and dependable
• High school diploma required.
• Pay range is DOQ

1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30pm, Monday - Friday (approximate hours)
