Astrodyne TDI is looking for experienced and innovative Electrical Engineers to join our teams across multiple locations. You'll be at the forefront of developing state-of-the-art power conversion products and EMI filter solutions for a variety of demanding applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced power conversion systems and EMI filter products.
- Create detailed electrical circuit schematic diagrams and part lists.
- Conduct component stress analyses and calculate Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF).
- Lead debug testing and design verification testing of prototypes.
- Conduct detailed analytical design analyses and collaborate on the mechanical design of products.
- Develop power conversion products including Transformers, Power Distribution units, and Isolation Transformers
- Manage the creation and maintenance of essential engineering documentation.
- Work closely with the New Product Introduction team to ensure smooth project transfers and testing phases.
- Provide technical support to the sales team during the bidding process and interact with marketing on new product development.
- Deliver technical presentations to management and technical staff.
- Mentor and train junior members of the engineering team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in development activities focused on electronic power conversion products, including a proven track record with switch-mode power supply designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as PSpice and Mathcad.
- Experience in resolving EMC issues and, preferably, in high-frequency magnetic component design and microcontroller circuits for power electronics.
- Hands-on experience with RF design and EMC troubleshooting
- Agency compliance experience (UL, CSA, VDE, CE).
- Strong leadership capabilities to drive project tasks and ensure timely execution.
