Job Summary :

At Home Companions is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team working with a female client in Teaneck, New Jersey.

This is a part-time, case, 10am-6pm, Monday-Friday.

The CHHA will provide personalized care and assistance to elderly or disabled clients in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Compensation & Benefits :

• Hourly wage of $18 to $20, paid biweekly

Responsibilities :

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help with light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up
• Assist with mobility and transfers, and / or use of medical equipment if needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Follow all protocols and procedures to ensure client safety and well-being

Requirements :

• Active Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home care setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening
