When clients accept At Home HealthCare as their in-home care provider, we expect our employee’s to be willing and able to provide but not limited to the following;
Personal Care
· Help with bathing and grooming
· Dressing
· Eating Assistance
· Walking
· Help moving from a bed, wheelchair, or toilet
Homemaking
· Picking up prescriptions
· Preparing meals
· Light housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, dishes, changing linens/bed making, laundry, ironing)
· Garbage removal
· Shopping
Companionship Care
· Reading
· Conversation
· playing games
· Scrapbooking
· Puzzles
General Responsibilities:
· Immediately call the office to report any changes in the patient's condition, situation, or incident.
· Follow plan of care by performing identified tasks
· Protect patient rights to confidentiality of patients and families in accordance with the HIPAA regulations
· Maintain confidentiality of agency, staff, and client information
· Prepares and submits signed, weekly time sheets for each patient.
· Maintains 8 in-service continuing education per year in accordance with agency policy
