As a Part-Time Sales Representative at Stupp Fiber, you will be the face of our company to potential subscribers. Your role involves engaging with potential and existing residential customers, demonstrating the advantages of our fiber network, and ensuring ongoing loyalty to Stupp Fiber. This position is ideal for a creative self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys helping others. Join us and grow with our dynamic organization while driving important company metrics such as take rate and average revenue per user.

Key Responsibilities include the following:

  • Proactively engages new and existing residential customers through door-to-door prospecting, cold calls, local events, and community organizations.
  • Provides excellent customer service and promotes a positive reputation and brand image for Stupp Fiber in the marketplace.
  • Answers customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Emphasizes product features based on customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
  • Maintains customer records using automated systems.
  • Plans and participates in activities and events that promote Stupp Fiber products and services, as necessary.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information.
  • Becomes an expert in the competitive environment to effectively position Stupp Fiber as the best high-speed internet choice for the assigned territory.
  • Maintains a personal cell phone plan with adequate data capabilities and willingness to download company required aps.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state-issued driver's license and meet the company standard regarding driving a company vehicle and personal vehicle for business.
  • Strong telephone and interpersonal contact skills required.
  • Willingness to have telephone conversations monitored for quality performance.
  • Must be able to follow directions and work as a team.
  • Must have knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Must have knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Must be able to:
    • actively look for ways to help people.
    • adjust actions in relation to others' actions.
    • be aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
    • bring others together and trying to reconcile differences.
