Position OverviewWe are currently searching for experienced candidates to oversee financial operations within an established property management company. This position involves managing the accounting department and ensuring accurate financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting team to ensure financial accuracy across all operations.
- Manage complex financial structures, tax arrangements, budgets, and real estate management.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and compliance with regulations.
- Foster a solid understanding of financial processes, supervise a small accounting team, and prepare accurate cash flow forecasts.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller in multifamily or commercial real estate property management accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience supervising a team of accounting professionals.
- Advanced understanding of GAAP principles.
- Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and MS 365, with advanced Excel skills.
