The CT Tech will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and assisting with diagnostic procedures at our healthcare facility.

CT Tech Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $43 to $45 per hour, paid weekly . In addition to a competitive wage, part-time employees at ATC Carlsbad are eligible for limited benefits, including paid time off and a retirement savings plan.

CT Tech Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Prepare and administer contrast materials as needed for diagnostic procedures.
- Assist physicians with procedures, following established protocols and maintaining sterile technique.
- Properly label and store images and maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the proper personnel.
- Participate in quality assurance measures and maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, providing education and instructions as needed.
CT Tech Requirements:
- Completed a certified accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and CA State License required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech in a healthcare setting.

-BLS, ARRT, CA CRT, CT

-EPIC experience preferred

-Float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified

-Proof of flu vaccination

-Night and day shifts (1 x 10 hour)

-Ped and adult, outpatient, inpatient, ER (Trauma L1-3)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of CT scan procedures, including knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Experience with GE and Siemens equipment preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and provide on-call coverage as needed.
