The LSW provides help to patients and familites adjusting to illness and life-style changes due to illness through counseling and coordination of community, social and hospital services and intervenes appropriately in cases of suspected domestic violence or abuse.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE Licensed Social Worker:

• Masters Degree - Accredited school of Social Work (Required)
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 2 Years if Experience as a social worker in an ambulatory or community setting (required)
• CPR Certificate (Required)
• SW-LIC - PA Social Worker (Preferred)
