Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Summary:
ATC Las Vegas is preparing to launch and is currently building a dedicated team of Medical Assistants in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Medical Assistant, you will exercise independent judgment in performing various tasks, ensuring adherence to established guidelines, procedures, and policies. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.

Requirements:

• Completion of a medical assistant course or comparable training
• Some clients may require national medical assistant certification
• At least one year of experience
• Background screening as required
• OIG, SAM, OFAC, and NSO screening
• Current health provider CPR certification (BLS level)
• Hepatitis B Statement or Declination
• Two-step TB test (or alternative per documentation)
• Drug screening (5-panel test)

Environmental Working Conditions:

• Work sites vary; possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other infectious materials
• Physical demands include the ability to read medical equipment and documents, push carts and medical equipment, and handle various physical tasks as required

Representative Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adherence to ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures
• Record maintenance, report preparation, and correspondence
• Knowledge of laboratory terminology and equipment
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
• Provide patient care with cultural sensitivity and respect for autonomy
