ATCO STRUCTURES AND LOGISTICS (USA) INC. (“ASL-USA”) is seeking a Staff Accountant for our Corporate Officein Spring.  

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger in various areas
• Responsible for timely month-end closings in line with monthly and quarterly closing schedules
• Prepares journal entries and account analysis, tracing errors, researching, and correcting account discrepancies
• Fixed asset administration and tracks Capex spending
• Assists in the management of bank accounts and ledgers: Deposits, Transfers, Wires, and Reconciliations
• Reviews credit card expenses and cash disbursements for accuracy and categorizes accordingly
• Supports Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Intercompany transaction administration and communication
• Account reconciliations
• Maintains records and backup for all transactions in an orderly and auditable manner
• Actively participates in internal and external audits
• Assists with the monthly physical inventory counts
• Ensures processes are consistent and in line with established controls

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE

• 3-4 years accounting experience is required
• Public company experience preferred
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Financial analysis experience
• Oracle Cloud & SmartView Reporting experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional organization skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and desire to continuously look for process improvements
• Ability to plan to work appropriately to meet required deadlines
• Ability to present information effectively
• Function at both a strategic and operational level
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• CPA or CPA candidate
