ATD Therapy is an esteemed psychotherapy group practice specializing in individual and couples therapy. Our practice is dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to individuals and couples with a range of presenting concerns. We proudly serve clients in New York City, New Jersey, and Florida.
Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Psychotherapist in Private Practice. The Psychotherapist will be responsible for providing therapy and counseling services to individuals and couples. The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic sessions. The Psychotherapist will collaborate with clients to address mental health concerns, improve relationships, and promote overall well-being.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work or a related field
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an LMSW or LMFT
- Experience in providing therapy to individuals and couples
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Ability to establish rapport with clients and create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethical standards and adherence to professional codes of conduct
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and supervision
- Excellent time management skills

- Weekly individual supervision toward licensure (1hr per week , 4hrs per month)
- Biweekly group supervision with colleagues to discuss and process cases (2 hours per month)
- Specialized training by experts in the field on a quarterly basis at minimum
- After 3 months Gottman Level 1 and Gottman Treating Trauma and Affairs Training Paid
- Yearly stipend for mental health trainings after 1 year

- Pay for no show clients
- 5 PTO days after 6 months
- Monthly healthcare stipend
- Annual earning potential is dependent on license with full-time fully licensed employees earning 6 figures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
