The Role

We're inviting you to take on an influential position as our Product Development Manager at our New York Headquarters. Reporting directly to the VP of Product, this role will be responsible for owning the product development function and executing launches for Retail and DTC distribution. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of the launch process and the necessary milestones that need to be achieved in order to bring Product concepts to life. You are inventive, diligent, and thrive in the art of creation while striving for excellence and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own product development initiatives from product concept to launch, ensuring Athena Club's standards and mission are consistently met.
• Collaborate closely with the VP of Product and cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and manufacturing to bring products to market.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure Athena Club remains at the forefront of product and category expansion.
• Conduct and analyze consumer research to inform new product ideas and/or improvements.
• Manage external partnerships, including suppliers and manufacturers, to drive efficiency within developments and production.
• Continuously monitor product performance and user feedback to suggest improvements or iterations.
• Ensure that products adhere to regulation and quality standards.
• Develop and own budgets and launch timelines, ensuring product development projects are adhered to and launched on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development, preferably in the health and personal care sector.
• Strong project management skills with a proven record of bringing products to market.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with fragrance mapping and development a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with product management tools.
• Passionate about women's health and well-being.
• Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment.
