We’re looking for someone to assist with our Operations—the people and processes across our organization. And because you possess a balanced blend of strategic thinking, marketing acumen, operations expertise, and leadership, you will be the right-hand person to the CEO. :)
You will develop processes to support our growth while maintaining our core values. The role will also keep our management team plugged in and develop a way to evaluate & grow performance. You’re just as enthusiastic about growing profits as you are fostering connection with the individuals on your team. You learn and move quickly and are the pinnacle of organization, growth, flow, and closing loops.

- A passion for getting things done in an efficient manner and creating a system for the teams to do tasks in a repeatable process

- You’ll create the processes and documentation to help us manage rapid growth in the next few years
- Ability to effectively manage up across varying skill sets including Design, Product, Tech, & Customer Support leads
- As you grow in the role, the following team members will eventually depend on you to keep the train running so they can focus on their jobs in Design, Product, Customer Support, Customer Success
- Leading hiring, onboarding, & managing
- You’ll create & execute our hiring, onboarding, & managing process that we’ll implement across the organization
- Hiring Projections
- You’ll own the Org Chart and ensure we have a hiring plan that reflects our growth
- Kanban Management
- You’ll map & manage all projects in Trello for the entire organization
- Creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- You’ll ensure each function has detailed documentation and or videos and repeatable processes to follow
- You will ensure the team can access those processes in a centralized and easy place
- Structuring & managing team communication tools
- You’ll ensure we have organized and efficient communications across Slack, Google Chat, Trello, Google Drive, Calendly, and Google Meet, etc. You will also manage our Office Suite tools for effective communication with clients and partners
- Experience working at a digital/online product/platform
- You will get familiar familiar with online courses, digital products & platforms and popular tools in our space like landing page builders, email service providers, CRMs, and course hosting platforms aren’t foreign to you (We use Clickfunnels, Teachable, Mailchimp, Calendly, ScheduleOnce)

Responsibilities include:
PEOPLE:
- Help team members establish and track their OKRs and KPIs
- Track & display company OKRs and KPIs
- Create hiring plan according to growth goals
- Hire, Onboard, & Manage team members
- Establish and uphold company culture & values
PROCESSES:
- Completing our Operations Playbook - One of your first projects with AtkCo once hired will be completing our Operations playbook.
- Create a project management structure (we use Jira)
- Create & manage all work tasks in Jira
- Communicate all retrospective feedback and track in Jira
- Break down company strategic goals into bite sized tasks for leadership to track
- Create or manage the creation of SOPs and videos/ documentation for each department
- Establish our team meeting structure—cadence, intention, and agenda
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Hiring and staffing: A company’s Operations Manager oversees all of the HR and staffing functions of a business. They are responsible for setting and maintaining a company’s recruitment standards, and the internal policies of the human resources department. A company’s HR director reports to the company’s Operations Manager.
- Enforcing and implementing a company’s standards: In most cases, the Operations Manager is responsible for carrying out the company’s business plan, which is a written document that defines a business’s goals and how it will go about achieving them. They are also responsible for devising a company’s strategy in the wider marketplace.
- Budgeting and accounts: An Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing a company’s financial . They are usually responsible for high-level decision-making when it comes to a company’s budget and accounts, with the financial departments of a company reporting to them.
- Overseeing administrative functions: A company’s Operations Manager is responsible for implementing and monitoring the operational function of a business, which includes administrative activities. People who manage office operations may report to a company’s Operations Manager.
- Succeeding the CEO: The Operations Manager will also often act as a conduit of information between the CEO and the rest of the company. They are also the second-in-command at a company, meaning that they will succeed a company’s CEO if they aren’t able to fulfill their responsibilities.
About You:
- You are insanely organized and addicted to getting things done.
- Your natural instinct is to create processes around everything you do—partly because you know the faster you document a task, the sooner you can automate, delegate, or eliminate it.
- You are focused. You’re excellent at seeing a task through to completion before moving onto something else.
- You’re able to develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap and strategy that ensures best-in-class marketing, product, & team operations that support and align with the company’s evolving needs.
- You are no stranger to Jira and project management tools. You will gain experience helping the company set OKRs, KPIs, and other performance metrics.
- You will gain experience hiring, onboarding, and managing team members and can look at our current systems and identify how to streamline processes & automate tasks.
- You will get to know how people and systems scale businesses—You’re an advocate for SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to make our systems repeatable & scalable.
- Your love language will be organization & processes. We never question our progress towards the quarterly and yearly goals because you keep real-time metrics for all projects.
- You can learn new software faster than I can say “new software” and you’re a systems extraordinaire. You can look at our current systems and identify how to automate tasks we’ve been doing manually for months.
- You’re driven by metrics. You know that you can’t improve something unless you measure it, so you develop ways to measure performance company wide so we’re always improving.
- Timeliness and deadlines are your jam. When we have a team call at 10:00am, you show up at 9:55am. When the deadline is Tuesday at 5:30pm, you have it done by Mon at 5:30pm.
- You over communicate clearly and confidently. If you agree/disagree with something, you communicate that without hesitation or overthinking.
- You’re obsessed with getting things done. If a task is unfinished or unaccounted for, you ensure it’s complete or scheduled to be completed.
