How will you contribute to the team?

• This role will be supporting the Strategic Asset Management Group.
• The main responsibility of this person will be reviewing Facility and Property Condition Assessment reports to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• A large portion of this process will include reformatting reports in Microsoft Word, as well as performing an Administrative Quality Control review on grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• However, this process also entails reviewing, updating, and formatting data in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets; a comprehensive analysis that includes cross-referencing that data with the verbiage, data tables and graphs in the Word documents;

and communicating directly with the assessors to troubleshoot discrepancies between the data and the written reports.

• QA / QC of FCA and PCA reports
• QA review of Enterprise Asset Management System - where asset and capital expenditure data is uploaded
• Manage quality assurance of client requirements
• Reviewing 30-40 reports per month on average

What will you contribute?

• Bachelor's degree (Required).
• Administrative : 2 years (Required).
• QA / QC : 2 years (Required).
• Construction / Facilities : 2 years (Preferred).
• Work authorization (Required).
• Interview process : In-person interview in the office in Alexandria.
• Shift : Mon-Fri, 8-5PM - Beginning at full-time in the office in Alexandria for training over the first 4-5 weeks, then 2-3 days per week in office.
• 2 years of experience in Word processing, advanced filing and document control, and large-document writing / editing - preferably within construction / facilities space.
• Preferred knowledge of building systems; i.e., familiarity with the process of evaluating architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to determine condition, remaining useful life, required expenditures, and remedial measures.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with ability to perform under pressure and to adjust to changing priorities.
• Ability to meet hard deadlines; reliable; good attitude.
• Strong process and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and determine course of action.
