Operations : Facilities POSITION SUMMARY

The Delivery Driver (Facilities) drives commercial truck / van to pick up and deliver heavy equipment to include but not limited to forklifts, biljax, scissor lift, backhoe, bobcat and power jack.

Delivers furniture and performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION :

High School Diploma or GED required.

CERTIFICATION / LICENSE :

• Requires valid Georgia CDL-A commercial driver's license.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Written and oral communication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Delivers heavy equipment items.
• Prepares route schedules for deliveries to ensure efficiency.
• Loads items in the truck.
• Drives truck to delivery locations.
• Ensures equipment is safe for transporting.
• Conducts special deliveries and safeguards assets; acquires signatures for deliveries.
• Maintains valid driver's license.
• Complies with random drug tests.
• Complies with Transportation Policy EBC-R.
• Required to have prompt, regular attendance in-person and be available to work on-site, in-person during regular business hours and as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator or their representative.

Additional Work Conditions & Physical Abilities : High noise environment. High dust, dirt, grease environment. Requires extensive safety training and / or protective devices.

Regular exposure to moving machinery and / or vehicles. Requires travel, excluding overnight stays.
