**Job Description**

We are looking for a Receptionist / Cashier to join our Service team! We seek a cheerful, energetic, people person who is comfortable working with the public and has excellent phone skills.

There are few positions in the retail auto business more important than receptionists! They are at the "front door" of the business, most often the first point of contact, the helper, the problem solver. It requires a special personality and someone who truly enjoys people. The opportunity for growth for a receptionist is huge! They know more about the business than most people in the building.

The Service Receptionist/Cashier manages all transactions for our service customers. He/she helps with answering the phones and booking appointments and receipting payments and answering customer inquiries. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment and work well with others. The ideal candidate is organized and diversified and has superior communication skills. A pleasant and friendly disposition is a must as well as being able to effectively multi-task.

We look to hire only the best, so candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

**Responsibilities**

* Manages high-volume phones with multiple lines, both inbound and outbound calls

* Accepts and receives payments and logs in internal computer system

* Takes messages and understands importance of phone calls

* Ensures excellent service standards and maintains high customer satisfaction

* Interacts with customers as well as with all dealership departments

* Provides administrative assistance as needed

* Files and retrieves repair orders

* Closes out repair tickets after payments are processed

* Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel

* Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner

* Handles customer complaints or escalates when necessary

* Manages minimal required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed

* Performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

* High school diploma or GED required

* Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress

* Excellent telephone skills

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor

* Highly professional and dependable

* Strong verbal and listening skills

* Ability to address and answer customer requests via phone and e-mail

* Cash handling experience

* Customer service experience

* Reynolds and Reynolds's experience a plus

* Must be dependable and follow assigned work schedule

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task

* Basic knowledge of computers

* Bi-lingual communication skills a plus

* Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
