In this role you will be expected to maintain a high level of productivity while ensuring accuracy in all data entry tasks and continuously adapt to new processes and systems to improve efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter data for 100 invoices daily into the accounting system, ensuring all information is correct and complete.
- Review and verify invoice accuracy, including quantities, prices, taxes and terms.
- Match invoices with corresponding purchase orders and verify the accuracy of billing information.
- Identify discrepancies or issues with invoices and escalate to the Accounts Payable Manager promptly.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all invoices, payments, and transactions.
- Ensure all data entry activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in accounts payable or a similar high volume data entry role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) required.
- Experience in Construction or related industry preferred.
